Now that you know how to publish on Flamus, it’s time to decide what form your idea will take and who will be able to see it.
Before you publish, there are two choices: format and access
On Flamus, these are two separate decisions. Post or Spark determines how your content appears and how people consume it. Free, subscribers or pay-per-view determines who can access that post.
To decide, ask yourself: what kind of experience fits this idea and the relationship I want to build with my community?

Post or Spark: which format fits your content?
Post: photos and videos that stay on your profile and in the feed
A Post can include photos and videos and appears on your profile and in the community feed. It’s a versatile format for behind-the-scenes content, photo shoots, series, more in-depth content and material you want to keep available for people who discover you later.
A sequence of photos from a project, a longer video or the first chapter of a series can find a more permanent home here.
Spark: vertical videos to watch one after another
Spark is designed for vertical videos that people watch in sequence, one after another. That makes room for quick clips, spontaneous moments, short ideas, behind-the-scenes snippets and content that works well with the rhythm of vertical scrolling.
It’s not about one format being “better” or “worse.” It’s about how you express yourself. The same idea can take on a different energy depending on how you choose to present it.
Free, subscribers or pay-per-view: who do you want to see it?
Free: a way in
Free content is open to everyone, with no subscription required. It can introduce your style, influences and creative world to people who are just discovering you. It’s a good starting point for discovery and for showing why it’s worth sticking around.
Subscribers: content for people who want a closer connection
Subscriber-only content is exclusive to people who subscribe to your community. This can include behind-the-scenes content, ongoing series, deeper dives, early access and other forms of exclusive content that make sense within an ongoing relationship.
Pay-per-view: something special, sold separately
With pay-per-view, people pay to access that specific content, even if they aren’t subscribers. This lets you offer individual pieces of content with their own value, without requiring an ongoing subscription.

You don’t have to choose just one content model
Free, subscriber-only and pay-per-view content can coexist. One piece of freely available content can introduce your work. Another can take a conversation with subscribers further. A third can be something special, sold separately.
The choice doesn’t have to start with “What makes the most money?” It can start with “What does this post need to do?” Attract someone new, deepen a connection, offer something special, keep a series going or simply share a moment worth sharing.
Scheduling and organizing also help build consistency
Not everything needs to go live the moment it’s ready. Flamus lets you publish immediately or schedule a post for a future date. The area for unpublished content also brings together drafts and a calendar of upcoming posts.
